Colorado and Utah Farmers Supply Biodiesal Plant

A biodiesal plant is under construction in Weber Industrial Park outside Dove Creek, in Utah's Dolores County. The project’s annual production goal is to generate $5 million gallons. The plant converts oil seed crops grown by farmers into biodiesel and food oil. Fourty-one farmers from Alamosa, Colo to Prince, Utah are contracted to grow almost 11,000 acres of crops.
San Juan Biodiesel General Manger Jeff Berman will present the project details and phases at the noon Cortez Business Club meeting on Nov. 7 at the Elks Club on Highway 145 in Utah.
